Spray powders based on natural materials still represent an important quality criterion in the printing process. They are used as spacer between the paper sheets in the delivery pile of the printing press and for protection against adhesion and sticking together of the sheets. The reasons for adhesion are a different absorption of the various printing stocks, the ink application and the paper weight. Mineral spray powders based on chalk will lead to rough surfaces (sand paper effect).
VEGRASIL F 10, M 21 and G 46 are environmentally friendly spray powders based on natural materials and therefore easily biodegradable. They are not harmful to health.
VEGRASIL F 10, M 21 and G 46 are suitable for all known spray units (H-K-M-W-G). Heidelberger Druckmaschinen AG, König & Bauer AG Planeta - sheet fed offset presses, MAN Roland Druckmaschinen AG, Weitmann & Konrad GmbH & Co. KG - powder application technique, Grafix GmbH - powder sprayer technique.
VEGRASIL F 10, M 21 and G 46 prevent clumping in the powder sprayer due to their even grain size distribution as well as their excellent flow properties and pourability.
VEGRASIL F 10, M 21 and G 46 prevent the undesired sand paper effect due to the selected raw materials from starch grains with a soft, smooth surface.
VEGRASIL F 10, M 21 and G 46 are highly effective at minimum dosage; they are perfectly suitable for jobs with inline print finishing.
